Things to do in Weymouth ;

By foot;

Weymouth 's own Pavilion Theatre puts on an extensive range of shows throughout the year including a Christmas panto, comedian stand up acts, and, music stars (plus tribute acts).

A trip to the Sea Life Centre is highly recommended hosting many rare species of sea life and water/splash areas for children to play in (open all year round). Situated right next to the Sea Life Centre you will find Pirate Adventure Golf, a Cresta run, Go-Karts, Pitch & Putt, and, a Rollercoaster.

Along with the Condor Ferry Terminal, numerous boat and fishing trips are available from the Harbor (especially in main season). These range from relaxing rides, fishing trips and diving expeditions to white water rides.

Just along the promenade and walk way (heading towards Bowleaze Cove) you will find Greenhill Gardens which hosts a cafe, Tennis Courts, Bowling green, and, a Putting green.  Further on you will come across a sandpit and paddling pool for children to play in. If you venture on to Bowleaze Cove you will pass the Spyglass public house (which boasts great views of the bay from their beer garden) and you will find a fun park incorporating go-karts, a helter skelter, and, crazy golf. Water sports are also available from here.

Venture across the bridge and round the Harbour to find Brewers Quay and carry on up the hill to take in the views of Portland Harbor from Nothe Gardens . Nothe Fort is also worth a trip.

The Rodwell trail is a quaint cycle ride or walk (totaling 3 miles from our Guest House) and takes you along the old railway line and passed Sandsfoot Castle .

By car/bus;

Monkey World is also highly recommended and hosts extensive play areas for children along with a wide range of monkeys (and other animals) (open all year round).

Portland Castle (can be reached by ferry) and Museum are places of great interest. Portland also hosts an outdoor market weekly in main season.

General;

Along with the obvious coastal path walks and attractions offered by the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site (e.g. Lulworth Castle and Cove, Durdle Door) other sports locally available include Golf, Kayak tours, Zorbing, and, Quad Biking to name just a few.

Eating/going out;

Weymouth boasts a wide range of pubs and restaurants from the traditional to the more modern. Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, Indian, and of course Fish & Chips food outlets are all present in and around the town centre to compliment the food available in the pub's.
